Darlene Gait Painting has been a wonderful way for me to learn about the environment, nature and wild life. It has given me the opportunity to expand my skills as I learn. I truly love Vancouver Island. Not only is it my birth place, but after traveling the world, I can honestly say, it is the most beautiful place on earth. As a First Nation's person, my heritage gives me the spiritual sustenance I need, allowing me to stay connected to the rythymn of the earth and universe. Surrounded by my ancestor's, I will continue to let them guide me towards the path of my destiny, and allow nature to continue being my teacher.
