The primary purpose of the Canadian Peregrine Foundation is to facilitate the recovery of endangered and threatened raptor species in Canada.  To accomplish this, the Foundation's objectives are to:

Document the current status of the Peregrine Falcon and other endangered and threatened raptor species in Canada, contribute to and monitor the ongoing recovery efforts for these species, and make such information available to the public and, in particular, educational institutions.
 
Raise public awareness of the environmental issues affecting Canada's endangered and threatened species.
 
Provide support to projects involving the recovery, restoration, and rehabilitation of Canada's endangered and threatened raptor species.

Canadian Peregrine Foundation has been indicated by AFC members as a potential recipient of donations by participating artists. AFC's Art for Conservation^TM program, provides a forum to promote artwork that benefits recognized conservation organizations such as Canadian Peregrine Foundation.

AFC members have voluntarily and independently earmarked a portion of the proceeds from the sale of their artwork to Canadian Peregrine Foundation. AFC's Art for Conservation^TM program provides a forum to help promote artwork for sale that includes such a commitment. Each artists's commitment is contingent on the sale of their work and the above estimate is a potential total based on the completion of sale of any original work and/or limited editions. The AFC is not involved in any way with artwork sales transactions, nor does it make any guarantees relating to artist commitments. The AFC takes no commission whatsoever from the sale of artwork under the Art for Conservation^TM program, unless explicitly indicated.
