Craig Roberts Craig Roberts specialises in African Wildlife working in acrylic on gesso-primed board. Regular trips to East Africa are the main source of Craig's reference material. A recent trip to Tanzania , Serengeti and the Ngorongoro crater provided Craig with stunning photographs and imagery for future paintings. Craig exhibited an original painting of a Kudu at the Mall Galleries, London in the Not the Turner Prize competition 2003. Craig was also invited to collaborate with the Born Free Foundation and is donating a proportion of profits from sales of his latest prints to help benefit the Foundation's conservation efforts worldwide. Virginia McKenna, OBE, who played the part of Joy Adamson in Born Free,' has commissioned Craig to paint a portrait of Girl' who played the part of Elsa the lion in the movie, "I was honoured and moved by this opportunity," explained Craig. Craig remains one of the strongest supporters of the Born Free Foundation and has pledged 50% of the sales of the print of "Girl" to the cause. He will also be donating a limited edition print, #21 of GIANTS OF NGORONGORO to The Born Free Foundation to Auction for the Lion Fund for the 21st Anniversary. As there are only 25 copies worldwide of this Lion print it should raise a significant amount for the Fund.
