Christine FriedrichsmeierBoth an artist and a zoologist with a passion for wildlife and wild places, I am fascinated by the natural world. Its beauty, fragility and complexity; all of the effects it has on my senses – textures, colours, sounds and smells; the light!; the moods – joy, solemnity, awe and wonder are the inspiration for my paintings.
