When asked what motivates him to paint gamefish, Toronto artist Charles Weiss explains: "I guess you could say it's the eternal power of nature. My favorite subjects are dramatic underwater situations; I've seen the fleeting shapes of fish and stood on the shore as the waves roll in, feeling the wind whipping my face.
