Larger watercolour paintings Here it was possible to set up closer to my vehicle; I could use a larger watercolour easel and painting block.
Oil sketch at Furnace Falls Autumn is my favourite time to paint outdoors. Rushing water and brilliant colour, the smell of fallen leaves are so inspiring.
Plien Air Painting Painting out of doors especially beside moving water is the most inspirational location. I very often hike, canoe and camp in remote locations to create sketches up to 12" x 16" and to gather photographic reference for larger studio paintings.
