New art studio/gallery in progress!
Well this is my blank cavas -so to speak! Reno and decorating is in progress to this room so these are the "before" pics. This area will be both a working studio and a gallery for finished work. It sucks that it's in the basement, but it has the most space of all the rooms in my house...

the other end of the same room which will be where I work since it has the most light. I should note, this room was a hideous lime green before this process began. I painted everything white, but may paint the gallery wall in a contrasting (but neutral) colour. Stay tuned for the "after" photos!!

It's finally finished! This is the "gallery" wall. I was on a very limited budget of only a few hundred dollars for this room so it isn't much, but it suits my needs.

Some new track lighting was essential!

It's nice to have some natural light to work by. Scratchboards I work on flat on the desk and coloured pencil on the drafting table.
