My Art Studio Port Chester, New York.
In my studio I work on Arches watercolor paper, which I stretch prior to painting. I can work on larger pieces and can control the drying times of the watercolor washes which form an important part of my paintings.

My Studio Painting Kit These are my studio painting materials - tubes of Windsor & Newton watercolor paint, a selection of brushes, white plates as palettes and paper stretched and taped to a board.

My Preferred Studio! Botswana. I often sketch landscapes like this when we are in camp. This is Mabuasehube Game Reserve in the southwest of Botswana. A huge male lion had walked over this very spot the previous night. We stood beside our vehicle to watch him but he nonchalantly marked the area and carried on down the sandy track. Fantastic!

My Bush Sketching Kit These are the materials I carry with me when sketching in the bush. As you can see everything is portable and can be used without an easel. These materials can also be packed up at a moment's notice - on one occasion I was sketching from the roof of our truck when my husband spotted a pack of African Wild Dogs on the pan below. We had to be up and moving in about 30 seconds flat to catch up with them!
