Life's Finest Moments II |

AerieArt Gallery through year-end will display for sale recent oil and acrylic paintings by Karin Snoots. The exhibition opens Saturday, Nov. 24, with the public invited to a free reception honoring the artist at 4pm.
Snoots and her husband moved to Delaware to be closer to the ocean and inland bays, where she captures on her canvases fleeting changes in the weather, as well as nearby wildlife that tends to be afraid of a solitary artist. Snoots is concerned that population pressures are threating the precious places and animal inhabitants along the Delaware beaches. Accordingly, she is contributing a portion of the show proceeds to The Marine Education, Research and Rehabilitation Institute, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation of marine mammals and sea turtles through research and rescue efforts.
AerieArt is open weekends, from 11am - 5pm, as well as by appointment, at 302-227-5376. |
