Hap Hagood's Sculpture Receives Salmagundi Award
On the evening of June 29, 2007, Hap Hagood's maple burl eagle bust entitled "Servant of the Sun", was awarded the Salmagundi Award at the Salamagundi Art Club 30th Annual Non-Members Exhibition Awards Presentation held at the Salmagundi Art Club, 47 Fifth Avenue, New York, New York. Located in a historic brownstone in New York's Greenwich Village, the Salmagundi Art Club has been a center for American art since 1871, making it one of the oldest and most prestigious art organizations in America.
