Sponsorship for Young African Wildlife Artist
Following the very successful art safari and workshop given at Africat by Pete Marshall, the Pete and the group who called themselves The Aussie Artifacts, have sponsored the young emerging Namibian artist, Denys Shinyama , to exhibit with Pete at the international Art Melbourne 2007 Exhibition in April. Denys was selected from a national competition to join the group for their workshop at the Africat - the big cat conservation centre. His dream is to become an internationally recognised artist - specialising in wildlfe - whose aim is to use his art to promote wildlife, conservation and resposible ecotourism throughout Africa to benefit not onle his own country but the whole continent, and consequentially the worlds precious wildlife. He is a 21 yo Namibian with a passion for life and a dream to follow.
