Periscope Depth Earns Award in Pastel 100 Competition
I am thrilled to announce that my painting "Periscope Depth" earned Honorable Mention in the 8th Annual Pastel 100, the prestigious international competition sponsored by Pastel Journal magazine. As the contest's name indicates, the best 100 pastel paintings were selected from more than 4,000 entries from around the world. I want to thank my wife, Kimberley, for suggesting that I paint this picture. The contribution of the hippo is also appreciated, although the hippo could not be reached for comment.
