Kay's painting "Solitude" was awarded Third Place in the annual NY State Wildlife Art Show on September 4th, 2006.
Over 65 paintings were entered in the very competitive show which was on view for 10 days in late August and early September. Attendance this year during the fair event was nearly one million.
Remarkably, the First (Michael Byrne) and the Third Place (Kay Polito) winners in the show are both signature members of WNAG.
