A press date has been issued for RIGOR VITAE: LIFE UNYIELDING, The new book by Carel Brest van Kempen. This hardbound book will contain plates of 139 of Carel's paintings, along with numerous drawings, and five chapters of text by the artist, as well as descriptive captions for each painting. Brest van Kempen describes the text as "anecdotes, musings, and scientific and historical facts describing my own relationship with nature and with wildlife, as a human and as an individual."
