BEST IN SHOW AWARD
Linda was once again elated when "Garden of Dreams" received yet another Best of Show award, but this time from the Alabama Miniature Art Society.
The Mobile Arts Council, where the show was held, is located in the heart of LoDa’s Art District, which has the largest selection of local and regional art on the Gulf Coast. The Council was once again delighted to showcase the Spanish Moss Annual Miniature Fine Art Show, the only miniature art show in the state of Alabama.
Guidelines for this show are strictly enforced. Paintings must not exceed 25 square inches and subjects may be no larger than 1/6th life size. But unlike other society rules, AMAS’s maximum outer measurement for framing is 90 square inches and must be of the highest quality consistent with fine art of any size.
