Paleo Books in Progress
Mark'is currently producing two new paleontology titles for Columbia University Press. The first is a series of color and black-and-white illustrations for a comprehensive book on fossil and living horses by paleontologist Eric Scott. The second, written by Mark and his co-author John M. Harris, explores the origins of pantherines or big cats, also assessing the current status of living species and measures to protect them. George B. Schaller of World Conservation and Panthera will be a consultant.
