2016 Annual Congress – Showcasing New Jersey Artists November 12 @ 2:30 pm - 7:00 pm The New Jersey Italian Heritage Commission (NJIHC) is proud to invite you to its 13th Annual Congress, “Showcasing New Jersey Artists,” on Saturday, November 12th. The 2016 Congress will be held at Rutgers’ beautiful Zimmerli Art Museum in New Brunswick. Doors open at 2:30 pm with speakers scheduled from 3:00 to 5:30 pm. The program will be immediately followed by a reception featuring heavy hors d’oeuvres and musical entertainment. Past Congresses have featured presentations from scientists, business leaders, and even Supreme Court Justices that have strong connections to both New Jersey and Italy. This year’s edition will feature presentations from filmmakers Marylou & Jerome Bongiorno, book artist Maria G. Pisano, and celebrity illustrator James Fiorentino.
