Some time back I was approached by Rotary - Coolamon who asked for permission to use the image of my painting ‘Tears of the rhino’ hear my voice, for their logo to head up Rages (Rotary Action group for Endangered Species). Recently the action group received official registration allowing them to now go ahead to raise awareness and funds against wildlife crime. Their patron is Dr Jane Goodall. - http://www.endangeredrag.org/
Their first project ‘Rages One Fight Unite – SAY NO’ International poster campaign in collaboration with the musical group Besureis has just been launched in London. https://www.facebook.com/rages.one.fight.unite
My painting ‘Tears of the rhino’ is the face of their first poster campaign and to date has been signed by Dr Jane Goodall, Seal, Sir David Attenborough, Brian May, Virginia McKenna, Kevin Richardson, Jean Claude Van Damme and Damien Mander among a host of others. The poster will travel the world gathering signatures of high profile people who support the campaign. At a later date the posters will be auctioned to raise funds. This campaign with the backing of Rotary Worldwide has the power to effect change for the ever increasing threat of losing so many of our endangered species.
I feel so honoured that ‘Tears of the rhino’ is now on this incredible journey and has finally found a voice.

To add to the excitement of getting this message out there I was contacted by Graeme Stevenson creator of the TV Art program series ‘Colour In Your Life’ to tell me that he was coming to film artists in WA and invited me to be a part of his next series. I was absolutely delighted!
Graeme arrived early with his film crew on Wednesday 4th March and spent the day filming. The exciting part of this all is that Graeme asked me if I was willing to do my segment explaining my inspiration and method used to paint ‘Tears of the rhino’. This for me was the cherry on the top as once again being able to draw attention to the out of control worldwide wildlife crime is of paramount importance to me. The program should be aired in about 6 weeks’ time.
Graeme and Sophia, videographer extraordinaire, kindly stayed on after filming to officially open my new studio with invited guests. It was such a wonderful yet exhausting day, but one I will treasure forever.
The ‘Colour In Your Life’ television series was created by Master Artist and CEO Graeme Stevenson. The show was nominated for two Logie awards in 2012 and began to air nationally on the network TV4Me.
Graeme has filled a void in the art world in Australia and continually takes us into the studios of artists working in a variety of mediums and genres.

The series has since been picked up by free-to-air New Zealand, Sky TV, Foxtel Aurora 183, and Virgin Airways worldwide, as well as 8 channels in the USA. http://www.colourinyourlife.com.au/
A big thank to Rages for their foresight and to Graeme for putting some ‘Colour In Our Lives!’
