Michael Wins 'Best Nocturne' in Plein Air Competition
Every two months over the course of a full year, Plein Air magazine sponsors competitions in a number of categories, some solely for plein air paintings as well as some in which studio works are eligible. All winners of the bi-monthly contests also become finalists for the overall prize presented at the Plein Air Convention held in Monterey-Carmel. 2015 marks the 4th annual convention, which will be held April 13-17.
Michael's painting 'heart of Winter' has won 'Best Nocturne' in the Oct-Nov 2014 bi-monthly competition and becomes a finalist for the overall prize presented at the 2015 Plein Air Convention.
