Some of my happiest moments are spent camping and painting in the American Southwest. I return from those trips charged with enthusiasm over the delicate play of colors on red rocks, the flights of birds, the nightly howl of coyotes. And I turn the best of my little 9 x 12 painting sketches into large oil paintings.
