Michael is the overall winner of the ArtQuench open competition held for the month of March 2013. As a result of his win, www.ArtQuenchMagazine.com has a feature article on Michael, including a review of his winning painting 'Trust', by juror Monica Hicks. The article also displays a childhood photo of Michael with his younger brother and older sister, a bluejay study done when he was only 12 years old, and a photo from his black bear den research in Algonquin Provincial Park. ww.ArtQuenchGallery.com is also hosting a 12 month representation of Michael's art on their website as part of his number one competition placement.
