Dumas wins 'Masterworks' for a third consecutive year
The annual 'Masterworks in Miniature' show, held at Gallery One in Mentor, Ohio, features the works of many internationally recognized artists, such as Robert Bateman, and Carl Brenders. Michael has won the People's Choice 'Best of Show' again in 2011 for his painting 'Mill Cloth', which features two house sparrows perched on a pile of discarded flour sacks. This makes the third consecutive year in which Michael has won this award, an unprecedented achievement in the history of this event. Fellow Canadian Robert Bateman was also a winner this year of the 'Buyers' Choice' award, with his painting of a sparrow and teasel in winter.
