Pollyanna Pickering feature in International Artist magazine
The October/November issue of International Artist magazine includes an eight page feature on Pollyanna's work - including a step by step guide to the creation of one of her paintings. (£4.75 / $6.95)
The article which is entitled 'An Affinity with our Fellow Travellers' highlights Pollyanna's remarkable bond with her subjects - from the endangered species she travels the world to paint, to the British Wildlife she has cared for in her own wildlife sanctuary.
A double page spread details the progress of a painting of a fox - from the orignal sketches through to completion. the fox was handreared and subsequently released by Pollyanna, giving her an incredible opportunity to observe and sketch him at close quarters - and then to capture the essence of his charcter in her painting.
Eight other paintings are also shown in the feature - including two pieces completed by Pollyanan following her AFC flag expedition into Bhutan.
Pollyanna was previously featured in the magazine as one of their choices for the 'Artists of the Milennium'.
