The annual NYS Wildlife Exhibit Juried Competition was held on August 25, 2004. Kay's painting "Sundown on Wolf Creek" was awarded Third Place out of 60 pieces.
"Sundown on Wolf Creek" was also the recipient of the People's Choice Award for Painting of the Year.
"San Diego Blues" was also juried into the show. Both paintings will be on view until September 6, 2004.
