Each year the Handweaving Museum and Arts Center attracts a larger participant entry and a higher attendance opening reception. This year the trend was continued with 64 artists and 140 enties juried for acceptance.
At the opening reception it was announce that Sheila Ballantyne's "Front Row Seats" won the juror's choice award. Sheila had a total of three entries chosen and along with her winning entry Sheila also had her paintings "The Point" and "On The Surface" selected for the display. Heralded as "Along The River's Edge" the show's theme was well represented in many of the entries. Featuring a range of two and three dimensional art this International Show will run until September 2nd, 2008.
