"Safe in Stripes" is a coloured pencil drawing I created this year depicting the close relationship of a zebra and the oxpecker.

Drawn to the Wild
Drawn to the Wild is a solo exhibition of drawings from my collection.


The Precipice
'The Precipice' was juried in to the virtual exhibition of the Artists for Conservation exhibit in 2014 and also into the first international exhibition of the Pencil Art Society in Quebec, Canada.


'Scent of lions'
This drawing has been juried into the Society of Animals Artists annual Art and the Animal 2014 exhibition.


Artist-in-residence
For a week in July, I was Artist-in-residence at the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson, Wyoming where I demonstrated and worked with the public in the medium of pencil.


Artists for Conservation
"Silverback" was selected for the Artists for Conservation Exhibition, 2011 and was awarded a Highly Commended in the Bright Autumn Art Show.

Kate is solo artist with her exhibition called "A Passion for Nature" in November.


Contented
Australian Kate Ferguson, has been invited to be a participating artist in Western Visions at the National Museum of Wildlife Art.


Acceptance
The biennial "Wild Awards" of the Wildlife Art Society of Australasia was held recently in Melbourne. Kate's graphite drawing of two gray wolves "Acceptance" was awarded a Highly Commended at the show.
