Gilcrease AAIM Awards Karen Latham People's Choice for 2009
Karen Latham was awarded the "People's Choice" award for her painting "Contemplation - Young Wolf" at the Gilcrease Museum's American Art in Miniature 2009 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Book Awards
"V is for Viking - a Minnesota Alphabet", Karen & Rebecca Latham's (illustrators) first children's book, was awarded at the 2004 Northeastern Minnesota Book Awards.

2004 Kentucky National Wildlife Art Exhibit
Karen Latham recently won the "Kentucky National Wildlife Artist" Best of Show award in the biennial Kentucky National Wildlife Art Exhibition. Rebecca Latham won the Fifth-Third Bank award, a runner-up prize. Several other WNAG artists won awards in the exhibition. www.ohiovalleyart.org

Arts for the Parks - Top 100 Miniature Award
Karen Latham was awarded a silver medallion as the Region I winner of the Arts for the Parks Top 100 Miniature Art Competition with a watercolor painting of a snowy egret from the Everglades. She and her family recently attended the banquet ceremony held at the Jackson Lake Lodge in Yellowstone National Park. www.artsfortheparks.com

Lathams Awarded in British Exhibition
Karen and Rebecca Latham exhibited their watercolor paintings in the British Society of Miniaturists Summer Exhibition in Ilkly, West Yorkshire, England. The show is known as the largest exhibition of original paintings in Britain.
