Ms. Fox will travel to the Ikh Nartiin Chuluu Nature Reserve in Mongolia in July of 2009 to study, sketch and photograph the endangered Argali, the world's largest mountain sheep. This is the ninth expedition fellowship under the AFC Flag Program.

Susan Fox's Fifth Trip to Mongolia A Success
Susan, the ninth Flag Expedition grant recipient, returned to Mongolia for six weeks this summer and was able to follow up on some of the places and people she encountered last year.

Susan Fox Visits Takhi Release Sites in Mongolia
In September and October of 2006, WNAG member Susan Fox spent three weeks traveling in Mongolia. She saw and took reference photos of endangered takhi (Przewalski's Horse), the world's only species of wild horse, at two of the three current release sites in the country.
