Josh Tiessen Awarded Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal
Nominated by Member of Provincial Parliament Paul Miller, Tiessen was among the youngest in Canada to receive this medal, awarded to outstanding Canadians in the year of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Miller cited Tiessen's artistic accomplishments, philanthropic work including conservation efforts, and humble demeanour among the reasons deeming him worthy of this honour.
