The Ghost and the Giant
This is a painting of the endangered Ghost Orchid and the Giant Sphinx moth that pollinates it. I have been fortunate enough to see two of these orchids in the wild on a recent trip. The Giant Sphinx Moth is noctural and is thought to be the only creature that can pollinate the Ghost Orchid.
