Workshop entitled 'Techniques for Nature Painting'
'Techniques for Nature Painting' 28th March 2011, Leh.
Observation is critical for nature painting, and during this workshop, Maya Ramaswamy introduced some new ways of looking at natural forms so as to be able to draw them accurately. Brush techniques and pencil work were also demonstrated during this half day event with 30 young participants from various schools in Leh, Ladakh, Jammu Kashmir State, India. This event was organized by Nature Conservation Foundation, India.

Language Editions of 'Nono the Snow Leopard' released in New Delhi
Hindi, Kannada, Marathi and Gujarati are four Indian languages. 'Nono, the Snow Leopard' was released in these four languages in New Delhi last month by Pratham Books, India.
