  • African People & Wildlife Fund
The African People & Wildlife Fund works with rural communities to help them manage natural resources for the mutual benefit of people & wildlife. APW is based in Tanzania and their efforts are focused on the Maasai Steppe.

  • Cheetah Conservation Fund
The Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) was founded in 1990 by Dr. Laurie Marker. CCF's mission is to ensure the long term survival of the cheetah and its ecosystem. CCF works with all stakeholders to achieve best practice in the
conservation and management of the world's cheetahs. As Namibia has the largest and healthiest population of cheetahs left in the world, CCF's International Research and Education Centre is based in Namibia, near Otjiwarongo.

  • Painted Dog Conservation project
The Painted Dog Conservation Organisation`s mission is to conserve and increase the range and numbers of the Painted Dog (Lycaon pictus, otherwise known as the African Wild Dog) by providing conservation tools and education material that can be used to protect this highly endangered carnivore. Their objective is to undertake a holistic approach that encompasses all the stakeholders, particularly school children and local communities.

  • Sekolo Projects
Sekolo Projects is a non-profit that trains African teachers in HIV/AIDS prevention. Their primary focus is a national teacher-training project, which they developed for Namibia, that gives HIV prevention training, books and videos to every secondary school in the country. Some parts of the country
have a 40% infection rate so issues of stigma, treatment, prevention of mother-to-child transmission, and caring for people living with HIV AIDS are incorporated into the training workshops.
