John Banovich Art Safari

Location: Kenya. Amboseli, Nakuru, Soysambu and Masai Mara.
Details: I am honoured to have been part of an artists' safari in Kenya headed by John Banovich who has a passion for Africa and conservation like no other. This was a magical experience with wildlife viewings beyond our wildest dreams. Great new artist friendships were forged and existing ones were deepened. We got to meet up with Kat Combes and learn of the critical conservation work underway with Soysambu. We visited wildlife in Amboseli, Nakuru, Soysambu and the Masai Mara. We learned of important research on lions and the integration of Masai cattle farming with wildlife conservation in the Masai Mara. Now all that remains to do is translate that magic for you in paintings and somehow strive to support critical work underway to sustain the supernatural beauty of African wildlife at its rightful home in Kenya.
