Photography The first step in my creative process is almost always taking photographs of my subject. This can be either one time or several over any period.
Drawing From the photographs, I make an initial drawing of my subject roughly the way I would like it to appear in the finished painting.
Color I then apply the colors I feel the subject radiates and which reflect the soul and emotions of my subject. This is a highly personal interpretation of the subject's inner radiance.
Develop the Image and Colors I then essentially combine what I've done so far to formulate the final shape of the subject. Here I add motion, more feeling, and creativity to enhance my painting.
Finalize Here I do the final detail work to well define my subject , develop the painting and define the anatomy with my colors. The eyes of my subject are painted very carefully.
