I love painting the animals that have touched our lives . . . I gladly accept commissions with the following guidelines.
A non-refundable deposit of 1/3 of the total amount is expected at the start of the project. I provide preliminary sketches to the client before the painting is started, in order to find out if the concept is acceptable. Once approval is received I then proceed with the actual painting. If upon completion the client decides not to accept the painting I retain the painting and the non-refundable deposit. The client would not have to make any more payments at that point. If the client approves and accepts the painting, final payment is due at that time. The painting is shipped when the payment clears the bank.
My commissions are sold unframed to allow the purchaser to make final framing decisions to best meet their individual needs.
Tax, shipping and handling costs will be added to the original quoted and agreed upon price for the commissioned piece.
