We were saddened to learn that Bob has recently passed away. We do however celebrate Herb's artwork as well as his life.

"Ever since I was a child I have been captivated by the beauty of the great outdoors. At the age of 12, I began my journey when I became interested in drawing and painting wildlife and it's surroundings, since I was raised in a rural community. This, with the help of my parents eventually led to art college in Philadelphia where I specialized in wildlife painting and illustration.

Upon graduating, I accepted an art staff position with a large printing firm, and freelanced in wildlife art on the side.
Eventually, the firm closed, and I went on a freelance basis
starting with smaller wildlife publications and gradually working up to larger ones.

Feeling that my knowledge could be spread to others, I took a teaching position at a community college. I eventually resigned from teaching to do wildlife paintings for a publisher.
For a five year period, I did a number of works that were made into limited edition prints. I also illustrated a series of books.

I have traveled to the state of Wyoming to research big game, and have made a number of trips to northern Maine and Canada.

I have a wife named Jackie, and two sons named Robert and Bruce. They are my best critics."
