About
Vickie McMillan, a native Texan, masterfully creates breathtaking wildlife and nature paintings that advance global conservation causes, envisions and executes elaborate collaborative community art projects, and passionately conducts art-based global outreach initiatives that equip, encourage, and motivate disadvantaged, disabled, and impoverished people. Her large public installations include public buildings, hospitals, schools, correctional facilities and other government organizations.

As a master in acrylic’s and watercolor, Vickie captures the resplendent beauty of fauna and flora by creating stunning works of art, especially of African wildlife. Drawing upon her extensive field study and award- winning photography of these magnificent animals in their natural settings, her accurate yet stylistic paintings are in-demand among discriminating collectors of fine art. Her works of art have been in numerous magazines and newspapers in America and around the world. Because of her commitment to protect endangered wildlife and habitats, McMillan generously donates paintings to raise funds for important conservation causes in Texas and around the world. To this date she has donated or helped raise over $200,000. towards Art scholarships and Wildlife Conservation around the world. Vickie uses her artistic talents to impart knowledge and expose as many whom are willing, to educate themselves about Earth’s finite resources. Many people she works with do not have the privilege of traveling the world, so it is her desire to bring the world to them, especially the beauty of Africa.
