Pat Jackman

Pat Jackman was born in Montreal, Quebec Canada, in 1963. Pat developed a love for drawing and animals at a very early age. Colored pencil is her preferred medium, with wildlife as her favorite subject matter. Pat earned her BA in Psychology and her BSN in nursing, and has taken many workshops over the years with many of her favorite and respected artists. Pat has won many awards and has membership to many prestigious organizations, she has achieved Signature statues in “The Society of Animal artist’s” and the “Artist for Conservation”. Other memberships include the Colored Pencil Society of America, the Colored Pencil Society of America Portland chapter, and the International Guild of Realism. Pat’s work has hung in many venues, including “Birds In Art” at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson art Museum, as well as in the Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, in New York City. Pat likes to give back to the community by donating original artworks every year to a variety of organizations for their efforts in fundraising.
