Aim - end radioactive contamination of the Lake District. In 2007 Sellafield emitted 83 million million becquerels of tritium water vapour and discharged 628 million million becquerels of tritium water in Cumbria. Geological disposal of high level waste and new nuclear build would mean much more of the same. Radioactive water is not fit for life. Fresh water is irreplaceable.
