"I have been truly blessed to live in some of the most remote and unspoilt regions in Africa, and I try to bring what I feel and what I see to canvas. If I can sit down and bring some of that African magic I see everyday into a painting, then I have achieved something."

Dolfi was born in Zimbabwe in 1977, and has lived in Africa all his life.
"I turned down an engineering scholarship to to pursue a life in the great outdoors - Africa and her incredible inhabitants have had a most profound effect on my life, and I could not see myself swopping my binoculars and boots for a collared shirt! I became involved in the safari industry in 1995 and since then, have been conducting walking and photographic safaris throughout the continent. It became apparent over the years that conservation is and will continue to be an extremely important element out here, enabling our future generations to experience the same thrill and exhilaration as I have over the years."

Today Dolfi devotes much of his time to painting, and still gets out into the bush on a regular basis to conduct specialized safaris. His art work, for which he has won many awards, can be found in private collections across the globe, major art magazines and even a George Lucas book entitled : Star Wars Visions!
