Martin Hayward-Harris

Martin Hayward-Harris was born in 1959 in Reading Berkshire United Kingdom. Working at The Natural History Museum London and The National museum of Denmark. He works in multi media, including bronze, wood, and steel.His passion is nature but more recently since designing the 'Gilded Tiger 2063' sculpture ,started working on abstract forms and Conceptual pieces about mans relationship with nature.Such as Caped Crane and All at Sea.
Recent commissions include the Royal Court The Gold Council ,The Getty Estate, Cambridge University and the Disney Corporation.
Martins work has been shortlisted for the Royal Academy London. In 2016 his work sold at Sotheby's in New York, 2016 at the Sporting Art Sale Bonhams Edinburgh and in 2017 Christies Interiors . South Kensington London. Martins work has been exhibited in London, at the Society of Wildlife Artists annual show most recently in 2015, and with the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation with The 'Gilded Tiger 2063' to highlight the plight of the big cats. This work is now part of the permanent collection of The International Nature in Art Museum Twigworth Gloucestershire UK.
Martin is resident artist at The International Nature in Art Museum during the week of 13th -18th March 2018.Please visit.
