SUCCESS is " Doing what you love "
Growing up in southwest Virginia, George Shumate reminisces of strolls in sunny broom straw fields and adventures into frosty forest with white icing dripping from
snow covered fir trees.

George has experienced success as an accomplished professional artist for over thirty years painting from the endless resources he encounters daily. From inviting sunlit beaches, intriguing rains with working boats and reflecting docks, to the infinite magnificent beauty stretching out to the Rocky Mountains.

He has a talent to portray on canvas a captivating " moment in time ". His reputation to include wildlife and nostalgia is evident of his sincerity for perfection.

" I thank God every day for the gift to paint and truly feel the reward of "SUCCESS".
