Born in 1965 in Frankfurt am Main, I now reside in Brakel-Gehrden, Germany. Wildlife art - painting as well as photography - is the basis of my life. My work is founded on my studies in biology which I undertook at the universities of Kassel and Göttingen. I have undertaken extensive travel in almost all European countries as well as North, Central and South America, Africa and the Carribean to study nature at first hand. Since 1990 my professional activity has concentrated on creating information boards on nature themes in cooperation with various companies, one of which I participated in establishing myself. I am a freelance artist since 2005.
