Subject: Giraffe Dimensions (inches): 27 x 12 x 10 Medium: Virginia steatite Description: This is another in the Petroglyphic Paradigm Series. When I first studied this stone, I could see the head and neck of a giraffe as it was reaching for sustenance up in a tree. As was the case in the other subjects in this series, my initial perception was in two dimensions, and not in three. Thus the petroglyph on the back of this sculpture.
