Subject: GRIZZLY BEAR MOM WITH CUBS Dimensions (inches): 12 x 14 Medium: CLAY MODEL WORK IN PROGRESS Description: AFTER THE HONEY is a whimsical piece on a mom and her cubs after they find an old log with an abundance of honey that they devoured and soon fall asleep. While I have observed bears in the wild, this scene came from the fantasy side of my art. It was so much fun to sculpt this setting and while it is a fun piece it is also anatomically correct. I love showing the light side of nature and having others see the humor in my sculptures. In my mind this gives them life and personality. After all, when have you not seen a bear that did not posses a bigger than life stature and have personality plus.
