Cascading Falls
Dimensions (inches): 12 x 9 Medium: Transparent Watercolour Description: This is a spectacular waterfall in Algonquin Park that is rarely seen. The reason is the portage trail veers away from it and then meanders some distance down stream. The 420 m long portage is the last one on the Barron Canyon River route. These falls were used as a chute for the logging drives. Aged nails used in the construction of the chutes and other bits of hardware are still visible in the water and at the rivers edge.
