Subject: Pelican Dimensions (inches): 14 x 24 Medium: Oil on board Description: Plowing Through the Pads-oil on board-14 x 24. This is my first completed painting since settling in Florida. Starting to get back in the swing of things in between the Florida life style and pickle ball lessons. Upon going to play pickle ball I was surprise to see approximately 40 White Pelicans feeding in the lily filled pond next to the courts. They were sailing through the lily pads in the windward direction dipping down and up with their huge bills in search of food. Hence this is the scene as I depicted it in paint.
