Description: Ocean Bound features a pair of Common Mergansers heading out of an ocean outlet off the Pacific coast towards the Pacific Ocean. The Merganser's are from studies on the Niagara River in New York state and the background is a combination of coastal areas of the Olympic Peninsula region of Washington State. The artwork finished in third place of the Oregon Waterfowl competition in 2015
