When Taylor Herrick first told me what he had in mind for this piece, I was excited because I saw the possibility for a beautiful sculpture. I am grateful for the help of longtime champion Golden breeder, Elaine Brent. With her expertise I was able to model this relaxed position directly in wax, at 1:4 scale, based on her girl Peaches, while retaining the look of Taylor's Madison. 'Merry Sunshine' is sized to perfectly fit on a desk, windowsill, tabletop, or wherever it may please you. 'Merry Sunshine' is made by hand, one at a time, in Colorado, USA. Each includes my mark.
