Subject: House Sparrow Dimensions (inches): 14.75 x 9.25 Medium: Oil Description: There seems to me to be a special kind of light and atmosphere that works its way in and around old buildings and their rough hewn contents, something at once tangible and yet insubstantial. Perhaps it is this odd contrast that I sense in these things that causes me to return time and again to this theme in much of my work. In Threshold I have consciously worked at reflecting and integrating these two contrasting notions into one image.
